Maid's room
A separate staff room, common in UAE villas and larger apartments, usually with its own bathroom.
Whether your home has one largely decides whether a live-in arrangement is possible. It is not simply a spare room: for somebody living in your house it is the only private space she has, and its condition says more to a candidate at interview than anything you tell her.
A door that locks, a window, working air conditioning and a bathroom she does not share with the family are the baseline, not the premium version.
Why it matters
If you do not have one, look at live-out arrangements rather than improvising a solution. A helper sleeping in a utility space is where a great many bad situations begin.
