A UAE licence changes the school run, the supermarket and every appointment in the week.
A helper who drives is a materially different arrangement, particularly for a household with children at two schools. It is also the capability most often claimed loosely — an overseas licence is not a UAE licence, and the conversion is neither quick nor guaranteed.
The register records a held UAE licence specifically. Ask to see it, check the expiry, and settle insurance before she drives your car once.
