Live-in help
She lives in your home. That changes the arrangement in ways worth thinking about before you start.
Live-in is the common arrangement in the UAE and the one with the most room to go wrong, because the boundary between working and not working disappears unless somebody draws it. A helper who is in the house is not on duty, and treating her as available until she goes to bed is how good arrangements curdle.
Settle three things in the first week: her hours, her day off, and that her room is her room. Everything else tends to follow from those.
What the work involves
- A private room with a door that locks, and her own bathroom where possible
- Stated working hours, with a real end to the day
- One full day off a week, and how it is taken
- Meals, and being able to cook her own food
- Privacy — nobody entering her room without knocking, including children

We are interviewing now. Every profile has to pass five checks before it appears here, and we would rather show you nothing than show you someone we have not met. Leave us your details and we will write to you the week it opens.
